Alright

But saying starwars is better than star trek on the internet where all kinds of nerds can see... that's just asking for trouble.

Some fun and some okay animation.

Uhh...

Why did you submit this twice? We've seen it!

Wow

This series is definitely one of the best on the site.

I remember you saying in either your author's comments or a response to a review that you'd like to be as good as the flash masters here on NG. Now, you are a flash master.

Looking forward to PALADIN V!

Wow

That was awesome. Great graphics, good animation, great music and sound effects, good story direction and suspense. The menu is just like a DVD menu. Very, very well done.

The bonus feature was good too.

Crap

The graphics are simple, but okay. The animation is simple, but smooth. My main gripe is that this is not entertaining in the slightest.

First of all, lose the robotic voices. They are really annoying and cannot achieve the full range of human emotion, thus they are terrible substitutes for real voice actors.

Secondly, the way you present your message is so boring. You point out the rules so slowly, with no funny comments.

Thirdly, most of the "points" you make are pretty stupid. The only one you hit on the head was that people should not be abusive to authors who submit works to NG. I agree with you there completely.

The rest of your argument is on shaky ground.

"You can't criticise authors if you can't use flash yourself".

You don't need to know flash to know when something isn't funny, interesting or thrilling. You don't need to know flash when something is crappily animated. You don't need to know flash to have an opinion on a flash.

"People who can't use flash can't be helpful in their reviews".

That must be why the site only allows people who've sent in submissions to review other author's work... Wait a tic! Everyone is allowed to review a submission. Why is that? I'll tell you.

People who don't know flash will still be able to help by pointing what is wrong, even if they don't know how to fix it.

On top of that, not all who criticise are inexperienced with flash. There are plenty of flash authors who would criticise your flash, and you should take advice from them when they give it.

By the way, if you're thinking of putting my screen name up in your author's comments for people to flag this review, know this: Flagging is not automatic. It alerts admins to a problem, and if they find one, they will deal with it. If you have people flag this, admins will find no problem with my review, and everyone of the idiots who flagged it will receive negative whistle points.

Have a nice day, don't get hung up with the idiots who have nothing better to do than abuse you, and good luck with future submissions.

TruffleClock responds:

What the fuck? Does it matter if it is entertaining?

How can they help if they do not tella way to fix it?

I was going to put your name on the list just because you said not to, but eat an _

Good little Spidey toon

I liked the animation and the medium-paced action. The only thing letting you down was the length.

Make this into a longer toon, or continue it as a series, and I think this could do well.

2/5 (almost a 3)

Parts of this were very good.

I almost voted 3 (out of ten, maybe a 7), but I voted 2. Here's why.

While it had funny parts, there was too much time between them where it would drag on about nothing at all. It sounded very ad-libbed inbetween the good jokes (eg, polar bears bit was good, but Santa whining about work was annoying and boring). I think you should have done a bit more editing to make this as slick as possible.

There was way too much swearing. I know you've clearly labeled it as having excessive harsh language, so it's my fault for watching I guess. But I think it was really unnecessary and added nothing to the humour.

Good graphics and animation. The Creature Comforts influence was very conspicuous, but that's not a bad thing.

DanAbnormal responds:

The humour in this flash wasn't focused primarily on the jokes. Let's remember that santa doesn't actually exist. The twisted humour about him not actually liking his work is ironic, because everybody imagines santa as a lovely plump old fellow who loves children, whereas here he is potrayed as a grumpy old cynical bastard (sorry for the language).
But hey, if you found it boring then thats fine. You're entitled to your own opinion.
Good day to you sir.

People think this is a useless review!
