[The Good and The Evil]

This was good

Good music track, some nice animation, it had a good pacing and good composition as well.

But I must point out that it is Jesus' sacrifice on the cross that makes us right before God, and not our own works.

See Galations 2:21-->"I do not set aside the grace [mercy] of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law [doing good works], Christ died for nothing!" (my brackets)

Good animation piece, but I can't be a fan of it's theme.

Just writing to say that this is gold.

This is a spot-on parody.

Okay drawings, and okay animation.

I'd suggest trying not to breathe into the mike, though. The simulated thunderstorm sound gets a tad painful to the ears after a while.

Oh yes, and music would have been nice. There's lots of royalty-free music on this site if you can't find any elsewhere.

Thanks, I'm gonna try and sort out the 'thunder' next time, but this was my 1st attempt at voices. Sorry about the lack of music too, I thought it added to the nature of these programs

I don't know. It wasn't really funny, or interesting, but the drawings were alright and the animation was okay too.

What's that font you used? Please let me know.

I like the premise

But the sound going out of sync brought the quality of this flash down dramatically. At some times, the gap was a few seconds.

I also think you needed a few more jokes after the guy showed his underarm. It wasn't really funny after the initial reveal.

Wow. Trippy.

This was pretty boring. I think you could have done better than just "appropriating" Dali's works and then using them as backgrounds every now and then.

Instead of Nixon floating around doing jack-all, he could have gone on a super trippy adventure with crazy goings-ons and picking up weird sidekicks on the way, all the while trying to figure out where the giant super banana came from... but I digress. My point is, you didn't try hard enough, and that shows in the quality.

This is bad.

The graphics were pretty shocking. I think you need to spend more time on those.

It would have been better with some voice acting as well.

I see some other people have commented about the man screaming after his head is gone. You can cut short noises by streaming the sound and then puting in a blank frame where you want it to stop. You can also do it by keeping it set to event, and put a stop keyframe. You can even edit the sound (within flash, by selecting edit sound in the properties menu), and make the sound drop to nothing.

The story wasn't frightening. A good way to have built suspense would be to have the creature stalking the guy for longer, and not showing it so completely and so early.

Imagination is so much scarier than what you can show.

I have no gripes with this being on the front page. I think it got the score it deserved. No offence, but this could have been better.

Well I haven't even heard of your story. I was just doing something and ideas just were popping to my head. And how do you expect him to open the box if he has no hands? :P

I planned something would happen, but it didn't. At least the poor guy got himself a new toy.
