[Christmas: A Documentary]

Parts of this were very good.

I almost voted 3 (out of ten, maybe a 7), but I voted 2. Here's why.

While it had funny parts, there was too much time between them where it would drag on about nothing at all. It sounded very ad-libbed inbetween the good jokes (eg, polar bears bit was good, but Santa whining about work was annoying and boring). I think you should have done a bit more editing to make this as slick as possible.

There was way too much swearing. I know you've clearly labeled it as having excessive harsh language, so it's my fault for watching I guess. But I think it was really unnecessary and added nothing to the humour.

Good graphics and animation. The Creature Comforts influence was very conspicuous, but that's not a bad thing.

The humour in this flash wasn't focused primarily on the jokes. Let's remember that santa doesn't actually exist. The twisted humour about him not actually liking his work is ironic, because everybody imagines santa as a lovely plump old fellow who loves children, whereas here he is potrayed as a grumpy old cynical bastard (sorry for the language).
But hey, if you found it boring then thats fine. You're entitled to your own opinion.

Nothing funny. Bad animation, bad graphics.

One tip: Make sure your movie is better than the intro.

How exactly is this a "new type of animation"?

Sprite animating is nothing new. Heck, I've done it.

This was okay. Good use of sprites, some good backgrounds. Although, real voice recordings would be better than speech balloons.

I didn't like the story. I thought it was pretty boring. Even the unexpected joke at the end wasn't funny.

That clip is an outtake from the other one, Sergeant Stacker, the WHITE one. Not Sergeant Johnson, the BLACK one.

I don't think this outtake clip from bungie is long enough to warrant an animation on it.

Perhaps you could go back and make more animations of other outtake clips until you have a good couple of minutes of animation (maybe three).

You might also like to create backgrounds for this.

Yeah, so that's my suggestion to you. Get all the other outtake sound clips, then find the ones you like the most and animate them. Compile them all together, and you could have a "Halo Outtakes" toon.

Right now, as it is, this toon is pretty poor.

Your drawings are good

But the animation is terrible! I think that is your main concern, but you might also like to make the stories better. They're not really funny, interesting or thrilling in any way.

Good music, but I think this could have benefitted from the inclusion of voices and sound effects.
