[SFVS Episode #3]

Alright

Good graphics and animation like before...

1st: Not again! Not funny. Try some irony. Going for the unexpected isn't always going to get a laugh unless it's ironic (like the croc/meteor in the last one).

2nd: Ha! Funny. Although, it didn't really look like the assumed danger was really going to kill him. It was just funny because the way he died was funny.

3rd: Meh. Bloody, certainly. But not funny.

Overall, okay drawings and animation. By scenes...

Scene 1: Uninspired, boring.

Scene 2: Ripped from Monty Python! (Holy Grail)

Scene 3: This is what the other two should've been like! Funny.

Interesting

I didn't think it would be good when I first starting watching it, but it got more interesting and drew me in. Nice story.

Animation is alright, although I wouldn't call it great. For the most part, it seemed like I was reading a comic book that moved a little.

Good drawings, good style. Voice acting was a little stale. I know you're going for a solemn P.I. voice, but even they show emotion (other than cynicism) in their voices sometimes.

I look forward to seeing more of this series.

Find a direction

This is alright, and I appreciate how much effort goes into frame by frame stuff. But this really didn't grip me because there was no story and no real direction.

Things morphed into and out of existence for the most part, but it would be good if you took one thing and animated it and made it do stuff before disappearing or turning into something else.

Make it interesting. Give it a theme, a basic idea, or a story for the viewer to follow.

Even with the offensiveness aside...

... this flash hasn't got much to offer. It really wasn't that funny, and it wasn't interesting either. Animation and drawings were alright, though.

You'll be alright with a better concept.

Very Stirring

I liked this. It was very simple, but it was chilling and interesting. It whet my appetite for more.

Well thank you. This I put a bit more effort into. I created one drawing for the backgrounds then did like 15 versions of it (all in an archaic program called Adobe Photodeluxe 3.1). The character seen here is a mikette basically. A simple series of drawings that used to depict the passage of time.

I want to work on this and have something done for Halloween 2005, but I want to get a few other things done over the summer. It might be cool to make this for Christmas... Granted a horror flick at Christmas may be an odd idea, but it's been done.
