Cool

Cool story, with okay graphics and animation.

A note for any would-be prison makers: Don't put swords on the wall!

RatherRandomReality responds:

Yeah, exactly :)

Interesting!

This story isn't abstract at all. You explain everything, so I'm not sure how we are supposed to make our own interpretations of it. Not complaining, though! It's just not abstract. That's all I'm saying.

This was interesting, and the graphics and animation were effective.

Happy Spook Day

Didn't really like it

I didn't find this very funny, but there were a few jokes I liked.

What's up with the bad Australian accent on the second cartoon? That was horrible!

Signed,
An actual Australian

I've seen the same thing before

It was a rotoscope cartoon of a guy shooting himself through the mouth, with the blood going onto a canvas behind him. The blood splatter made a picture of his face. I believe it was called "Self Portrait". Pretty much the same idea. Some could accuse you of plagiarism.

Was the beret necessary for us to understand he was an artist? Also... Artsy McFartsy? Talk about ruining the mood! :D

I didn't want to jump on the bandwagon, but...

It took three episodes for very little to happen. They got to the bridge, stayed at the bridge, did barely any fighting, and stayed at the bridge some more. The cliffhanger from last episode made it look like there was going to be a decent fight in this last episode, but nope... big bad guy dies in 2 seconds by being shot with a minigun. Give your fans something to enjoy, James. As good as the graphics are, the action was feeble and there was barely any story development. THEN there was another cliff hanger... Oh geez.

You don't cause frustration because people can't wait to see the next one. You cause frustration because you build up tension in a cliff hanger and then don't deliver when the wait is over. This series should have ended after episode six., when it was still good. Even that one was a bit too short.

You're a graphic design student. You must be right. :)

Hahaha! VERY inspired by Deciduous!

In fact, I thought I was watching the original at first.

Good animation and nice clean graphics.

Continue animating. You have a talent.

If you don't speak enough french to respond...

... then why write the text in the movie in French? This is an english speaking site, so you would have more people understanding what the text means if you had written it in English.

The animation was nice, and the graphics were good.

Munglai responds:

Because French is a pretty language and the movie was really French feeling even without the writing.

Plus I didn't really want people to understand what I'd written because it really wasn't anything that special and also it's fun to put stuff that Newgrounds people don't understand in movies because some of them get really upset about it.

Isn't Yankovic a Canadian himself?

It's a well known fact that people can make fun of their own country, cultural background, religion or race without people thinking they're racist, hateful or ignorant. On that note, let's all forgive Weird Al for this intentionally upsetting song. Just remember:
If you let his song get to you, the Parodyists have already won.

Good animation and graphics (with exception to that poor cut out of Celine Dion's head).

TITROTU responds:

Meh, I got lazy. :)

Not much of a story, not funny

The key phrase is "Part of..." a tale. This wasn't very interesting, because barely anything happened.

I didn't find it funny at all, either. Maybe I'm not drinking enough sugary liquids to find this funny.

Animation was superb, and the sound quality was good.

Well done.
