Amusing, but we can do without hurtful caricatures

I think it was funny, and the graphics are good quality. But I don't appreciate the awful racist caricature of the Vietnamese man (I'm assuming he's Vietnamese). It doesn't matter if it was "ironic" racism humour or whatever, and perhaps you don't intend to cause offense, but it's needlessly hurtful. It brings to mind the hate and prejudice that produced those caricatures of yesteryear. No more "me so solly" please.

Why is this so familiar?

Oh yeah, because everything that was said here was said years ago.

This isn't entirely terrible, but the making and release of this cartoon at this moment in time... it's just too late. It's got no impact because it's all been said many, many times before.

Faux nostalgia

Competent animation. Keep up the good work.

This was very reminiscent of an animation I've seen as a young kid. I can't remember if it was part of Sesame Street or something else, but it was an often repeated short animation of a cat who wanted dinner. The owner was distracted somehow (on the phone, as I remember) and wasn't opening the can for the cat, so it was trying all kinds of ways of getting the can open: Chewing on it, bashing its head against it, etc. Eventually, the owner realised the cat wanted food, opened the can simply with a can opener, and let the contents slither into the cat's food bowl. I think the cat was so exhausted by that point, that it just fell face-forward into the food. :D

Was this effort in any way inspired by the cat animation?

Fun, and the Foo Fighters wrote a song for WHO?

Wow, they wrote a song about the Beaconsfield miners? That's really nuts! :D

In Australia, we got "updates" about the miners every two minutes, telling us that they were still trapped down there in the mines. But apparently Foo Fighter music got them through some of the tough times they went through (not as tough as it was on the news viewing public mind you... :P), and I guess Foo Fighters heard about it, and wrote them a song... haha. Funny, I never knew that.

Critique:

The animation looks alright, but the background is pretty sparse, and could be made more interesting.

The different characters are hard to discern, because their only difference is colour. If you plan on having an actual plot besides fighting, it would be good if you could find a way of differentiating them more, so the audience knows who's who.

The characters in the actual animation all have different abilities and so that should differentiate then enough I think.

But didn't the Russians put the first living creature into space? It was a dog, on November 3 1957.

And the 3 astronauts from the Apollo 11 craft had to go through quarantine (40 days in isolation) before they could go on any parades.
