Hahaha! A great submission in this original series

I enjoyed the first submission you guys churned out in this series, but the second and third ones I didn't like as much.

This one lived up to expectations created by the first, because I thought the series might have gone south after my disappointment with "2" and "extra 1".

This game, while not more exciting to play than other shooting games on Newgrounds, is still really interesting and the gameplay itself is adequate enough to keep people's attention.

As I've said before, FPS in Real Life is a great idea that I think you can do a lot with.

Have you thought about playing pranks on the public or doing confrontational comedy to do with FPS in Real Life? You'd have to use obviously fake guns instead of realistic ones to prevent someone on the street thinks you're actually doing it for real.

This is an okay game

A few criticisms:

-players are too slow
-too easy to score goals

P.S. I cannot rate you for sound because my speakers aren't working for some unknown reason.

Not as good as the original

I didn't really like the "choose your own adventure" sort of format you had.

Plus, this didn't seem to be as long as the last one.

Is the "FPS in real life" idea yours originally? Because it is a really good one. It looks easy to make, and it's really effective. There will probably be lots of copycats.

If you intend on making this a series, you should probably consider making them much more complicated and action packed, and also think more about costumes and props.

Good work for what you've done so far.

No offense...

... but your backgrounds aren't that great, and that affects the quality of this tutorial.

Keep working on it.

You've done an okay job with making the interface (buttons and such). Is this your first flash?

meh i guess they werent amazing but i am starting to draw better things like i said in another reveiw i started a thread on it. come on over and see it.

Pretty boring

It's a simple game that has been submitted many times in one form or another, so the fun part had to come from your choice of theme.

If "The Dude" is a good theme, you did a bad job of presenting it as funny.

A good example of a funny themed game of this type was "Feed Lindsay!". This game was not funny at all.

Sorry.

Okay game, but it got boring

Good graphics and animation, but there's not a lot of variety in the game-play, and it didn't get harder as the game progressed.

I'm kinda confused on how the moving platforms changed the game from what you had with Jack Russell. For all the levels I played (about 15 out of the 30) the platforms didn't actually play an important part i.e. I could finish the levels without them.

Great! But there's a problem...

Graphics, animation and sound were all top-notch. It's a little saddening that you didn't use your own explosion movieclips, but oh well... that's not my problem with this.

When doing an attack, the player gets locked in position e.g. While I was watching the animation of my character punching some guy in the face, another one shot me.

Either allow the player to move while he's punching, or create a new, faster attack animation clip. One that takes the amount of time it takes to say "PUNCH!" instead of being as long as "I THINK I WILL... PUNCH HIM!".

Cool script work

Not really a full game, but a neat little exercise with code.

An okay game...

Good graphics, animation, and programming, but I just thought it was boring after a while. No new levels or challenges, just get the flags, and then go back and get them again...

So I was a little disappointed with this. I think (and know) you can do better. I suppose you're working on behemoth's next game, so is that why you can't really put as much time into your net games? I really enjoyed Dad 'n' me, not so much peace plane or train robber.

To those who don't know, Dan Paladin and Tyler Glaiel have used sprites from ANOTHER Dan Paladin project. They haven't stolen from anyone.

Copy and paste job

You've obviously downloaded the required code from the internet and then injected it into your own flash file to make a game. I could have done that.

You didn't work out the code yourself, the graphics are simple, and the game is boring. You get no mark.
