Great style and action. Absolutely awesome!

The graphics are a visual treat. Just beautiful, dude. The 3D effects were pretty good, and I wouldn't have noticed that it was all done in Flash. Very well done.

I don't know why some people are squealing about the supposed "lack of violence", because there was plenty of action to enjoy.

I'm not into techno/dance/trance music, but it went well with your animation and kept the tempo going.

Very, very well done. This was an exciting submission. Please don't make it your last!

Funny

I liked the joke. It was pretty good.

I found your visual interpretation of God to be really weird. Usually people make him look like a colossal old man wearing white. Instead, you've got what appears to be the moon with arms. Very strange!

[The 60 FPS Collab]

A truly crap effort

If you're going to make a big deal about it being 60 fps (if it truly is, I can't tell) you should make an animation that shows this attribute off.

Instead you have simple tweens and simple jerky FBF that would have looked exactly the same as on 30 fps or even 20 fps.

To top it off, there is nothing funny or creative here. But for some reason, it seems that you felt music from the Benny Hill show would make it funnier. Let me tell you, it didn't do anything for Benny Hill and it hasn't made this funny either.

Seriously? That was audio of an entire skit? It seemed like just one joke. One joke that wasn't funny. Don't touch the hamsters. Don't touch the hamsters...

Maybe you could have picked some funnier audio if you aren't going to record something funny yourself. Maybe?

... people vote high for something you don't like, and automatically there's something wrong with them? Don't you think that could come off as just a little arrogant?

I agree that a lot of crap gets high scores when it shouldn't (Neurotically Yours, Silent Hill CE, anything by Legendary Frog, most sprite movies), but this movie just makes you look like a jackass who thinks he's better than everyone else.

I agree with your position and feel your anger on a day to day basis, but I think your message could have been funnier and come across better without the angry attitude.

Isn't it interesting...

... how female armour in fiction seems to nearly always leave all major organs exposed? You can't be sexy when you're dead.

Anyway, this cartoon isn't about feasibility, is it? I mean, that crimson woman was impaled through the gut several times and still had to be beheaded to finally stay dead.

And why did the crimson woman give the sword back to the white woman at one point? I thought the point of the battle was to get the sword, not to fight for the hell of it. She could have just run away, or better yet, use it against the white woman.

The action was okay, but because the scenario didn't seem to make much sense at all, it wasn't that exciting. It felt so contrived. Of course, all fiction is, but you're supposed to make it look like there's a possibility the hero might lose. It adds a depth of realism and suspense.

Oh well. 3/5 for the good graphics and animation.

What a let down

Since this thing got frontpage and stayed there for a while, I thought I'd check it out. Something this popular has got be good, right? Well...

The various authors have taken famous characters, put what appears to be barely any effort into the writing, and turned out a really weak attempt at parody comedy. I think this could have been a lot better.

A bit of fun

It was much better when you had banter between Ackbar and the other dude, and not just some boring text on the screen.

I think there was an opportunity for you to illustrate the history of copywright laws, and not just tell us about it.

How about an animation of the events you talk about? Don't you think visual cues (besides text) could have been much more interesting and help us all learn by keeping our attention?

Not that I wanted to learn. Learning is for losers who want to be successful financially and contribute to society.
