You've obviously downloaded the required code from the internet and then injected it into your own flash file to make a game. I could have done that.

You didn't work out the code yourself, the graphics are simple, and the game is boring. You get no mark.

[Advanced LightSaber Tut]

Before you do a tutorial...

It's probably best to do a search with the search engine available on this site for any that are like it.

There are MANY lightsabre tutorials on Newgrounds, and making another one would be redundant.

This was okay and it said a lot of the things people need to know when making a lightsabre, but I would hardly call it advanced. You have not included what sounds to add and when, you haven't talked about other effects (such as a throbbing glow of the blade, a glowing ball of light near the handle, lightsabre clashing effects, etc), some of the graphics are shocking (the little man, sabre handles, no backgrounds), and I think you could have included a nice little example animation to show what it's supposed to look like when it's done.

Good music choice. Good, dramatic stuff from Star Wars.

But on a whole, this tutorial is redundant and not as good as it could have been.

Good emulation

But here's another glitche you may not have known about:

Collecting lives does not seem to matter. When you die, you return to the menu straight away, and when you click on continue, it takes you to the same level each time, even if you aren't up to it yet, and also if you have passed it.

The music was a little annoying after a while. Perhaps you could include a function to turn it off or change between music tracks, or otherwise change it more frequently as levels are passed. For the ten or so levels I played, it was the same music all the time.

It was a great emulation otherwise.

Yes that is one glitch, the 1st checkpoint got a bit messy, but I will fix that shortly. Then it will take you to the level once you actually get there. Glad you enjoyed though.

I have no idea how to script these things, so I've got some respect for people who do.

Everything about this is good (graphics, music. etc) except it was way too easy.

Because of that, I didn't really enjoy playing. Sorry.

Actually, I found this funny

Could have been much better with some good graphics, (Not the actual drawings you did and said to add colour to make it look real. That's part of the humour). With the images you downloaded, cut them out properly. It just looks really crappy how you've done it. e.g. Germaine image.

Might also have been better with a background other than plain white.
Maybe you could have downloaded an image off google and traced it!

I still kinda liked this. It's not like Illwillpress hasn't been made fun of before, but you made some original ways of expressing your gripes with him.

Sorry you have to put up with the Foamheads. I like Foamy as well, but I have enough brains to know most of Illwill's toons are crappy, so I'm not going to swear my lungs out at you.

Good graphics and great action scripting, but the gameplay was pretty boring, and there was no way to defend myself. I slowly, but surely, died and decided it wasn't worth playing again.

[Islam At Glance]

An okay submission

Good information on what Muslims believe, good format, and good graphics. I don't really like that kind of singing, but it was atmospheric at least.

I have some questions, though.

(1) Have you read the Quran? If so, what parts?

(2) Doesn't the Quran teach Muslims to kill the infidel (unbeliever)?

I know the vast majority of Muslims do not believe in that, but then again, it seems the vast majority of Muslims put their Quran at the highest part of the house (perhaps above a bookcase, covered in an expensive cloth) and never read it.

Would it be right for me to say that to claim that Islam is a religion of peace is a lying? Rather that most Muslims are not well versed in the Islamic texts and merely decide from their own opinion that they will not try to harm Western society?

Please respond carefully and intelligently, the same way as your flash is set out. I don't want to be accused of being an ignorant red-neck, because I know quite a bit about the basics of Islam. I already knew the information this flash presents plus a little more.

I have read the Quran tens of times and ofcourse all of it,not just that I even memorize 9 parts of it..!!
i am sure that you didn't read the quran, but it looks like you have read about that from a non-muslim author or something like that...
then it will be fair to judge islam after knowing what islam says about killing and attacks...
islam never says to kill unbeliever because he didn't belive in islam..this really rediciolus...i am from Egypt,in my country there are mora than 9 millions of christians,and if you know that islam entered egypt from about 1350 years ago...why there is such amount of christians in the islamworld...didn't islam should have killed them ?

don't repeat what you hear about isdlam blindly without thinking about it...
any way, i have prepared a very detailed answer about your questions and some other questions that people ask about islam such as:
-what the quran says about Jihad and the holy war and terror and killing unbelievers ?
